Eleanor

Eleanor is a personal trainer and a specialist in inner core/pelvic floor re-training.

Eleanor hasn’t always been a fan of exercise. Resting and relaxing have always come naturally to her. Several years ago, she injured her back and the key to healing it was movement and building strength. Once healed she was keen to learn more and so started her midlife return to study.

Eleanor is now a certified Mat Pilates Teacher, Pfilates Teacher (a pelvic floor strengthening exercise program created by a Urogynecologist), a Level 3 Hyporessive Trainer (a postural and respiratory technique that safely and effectively reprograms and optimizes core function and pelvic health), a Certified Senior Fitness Instructor (Western University), a certified Drums Alive Basic Instructor, a certified Drums Alive Golden Beats Instructor and is BoneFit certified (Osteoporosis Canada).

Eleanor was pleasantly surprised to learn that exercise is the prescription for almost all that ails us as we age and is eager to help others improve their strength, mobility and quality of life with as much humour and fun as possible.
