Anne
Anne is the owner of The Brookdale Fitness Club. Anne combines her many certifications with hundreds of hours of practical experience to offer highly individualized personal training for clients. She uses her ability to connect with people to help them unlock their own tools to change their lifestyle and maximize their health.
Having worked with clients with various physical challenges, Anne is able to focus on exercise prescriptions that maximize clients’ abilities and help find new areas of strength. Leveraging her certification as a specialist in senior fitness, Anne teaches fitness classes to older adults of all fitness and mobility levels. She also teaches the majority of our group fitness classes, focusing on resistance training, core strength and mobility.
Using an app-based delivery system, Anne helps clients deploy habit-based behaviours to achieve lifestyle improvements through small, daily changes. In all things, Anne’s approach is slow, steady and measured with a focus on making and strengthening connections in a non-judgmental and entertaining way.
Anne practised corporate law in Toronto for several years before taking time to raise her family. Anne understands the challenges and obstacles facing busy people with real lives and competing demands on their time.
